Construction mechanic (m/f/d)
Get our tanks into shape. Manufacture components from various materials and assemble them into assemblies or tank systems. Form thin sheets and apply welding and joining techniques.
In a maximum of 3.5 years, you will learn detailed knowledge of metalworking as well as joining and forming techniques to produce tank systems from various materials such as steel, stainless steel and aluminum with a precise fit. You will also learn joining techniques such as welding, soldering and bonding. The manufacture of auxiliary constructions, jigs and templates is also part of your training, as is the control and maintenance of modern machines and systems. In addition, you will learn to define and apply testing procedures and equipment.
Course of technical vocational training
You will learn all the important basics for your apprenticeship in the training workshop, where you will complete your basic training. After the basic training, you will consolidate the contents you have learned in our incoming goods department, in production as well as in maintenance and fixture construction as well as in various projects – the ideal combination of theory and practice. After half of the training period, you will take your intermediate exam/final exam part 1. At the end of your training, you will take the final exam/part 2 – and you will be an expert in your field.
