Temporary Shutdown Of Our Business
Based On COVID-19-Virus

Dear business partner,

The COVID 19 outbreak has hit the world to an extent that none of us could have ever imagined.

Our top priority is reducing the health risk as best as possible for our employees, customers and the public. However, the consequences for our company and the ongoing business have become increasingly serious

in recent weeks, also due to the absolutely necessary and taken measures by the individual government officials, to contain the spread of the virus.

The severity, the uncertainty in production planning and the associated financial risk, ultimately has led Schmid-Donzdorf to the decision to temporarily suspend our business operations.

Already Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 the goods receipt is closed starting from 3 p.m. for delivery of goods.

Our business operations will be temporarily suspended

Monday, March 30th up to and including Thursday, April 9th, 2020

This includes our production - and, with a few exceptions, all areas of sales, purchasing, shipping, engineering as well as quality and other administration departments.

We do this to protect our people, our business and our company.

The restart is planned for Tuesday, April 14th, 2020.

The overall situation will continue to be monitored closely. If new or different circumstances arise in short term, new conditions may apply at any time. The planned restart is based on the current, overall situation and is based on the current status of the supply chain, on the part of our suppliers and customers, and the prevailing health / Covid-19 status.

We ask for your understanding as well as for your cooperation. In following days and weeks we will continue to be in close contact with you and we’ll do our best to secure the business relationship for the future.

You will be kept up to date with the latest information and developments.

Stay healthy!                    Together into the future!
